Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Civio. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and are legally able to form a binding contract.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your details current. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Post content that is harassing, hateful, threatening, or knowingly false.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Use Civio to spread misinformation or manipulate election outcomes.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute Service data without permission.

User Content

You retain ownership of content you post (discussions, comments, reflections, ratings). You grant Civio a license to display and operate on that content within the Service. Public content is visible to other users as described at the point of posting. You are solely responsible for your content and its accuracy.

Civic Information Accuracy

Civio aggregates publicly available information about political leaders, elections, and campaign finance. We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee that all data is complete, current, or error-free. Civic information is provided for general educational purposes and should not be your sole source when making decisions. Always verify critical details with official sources.

Subscriptions & Payments

Civio offers a paid Pro plan billed monthly through Stripe. Fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Prices may change with reasonable notice.

Termination

You may stop using Civio at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or for any reason at our discretion, with notice where appropriate.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Civio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
